DHL is launching a new cargo airplane dedicated to the western side of the country

DHL Article
DHL, the international leader of the express courier market has recently launched a new cargo airplane, operating the western part of the country and a new operational gateway in Cluj. This investment defines the company’s strategy to consolidate its leadership position on the express courier market share in Romania.

The new DHL airplane has an efficient flight schedule which allows longer time for the pick up of international shipments with same day departure, while the new gateway can process a higher volume of shipments and offer performing customs services.
Due to this important investment, DHL ensures the best cut off and delivery times for its customers from the west side of the country, positioning as the first option when a customer choose a partner for the international express courier services.

The third international gateway from Cluj (after Bucharest and Arad gateways) will improve the pick up schedule of the orders coming from Cluj, Satu Mare, Mureş, Sibiu and Bistriţa counties and the customers’ shipments will reach faster their international destinations. Also, the DHL customers will benefit from same day delivery services for more than 90% of the inbound shipments for this area of the country.

Thus, the international shipments coming to and from this side of the country (inbound and outbound) will reach faster their destinations, which for our customers mean: speed, efficiency, flexibility and safety.

„Our decision of operating a new cargo airplane dedicated to the west side of the country shows one more time DHL major interest for Romania market. DHL has an unique experience on Romanian market, of more than 20 years, with over 450 employees, 25 DHL offices in the most important cities in the country and a fleet of 250 vehicles.
